Hi,
I currently use a small workaround for this.
Go to the utilities folder under applications on your mac. Make a copy of the terminal
app.
I then renamed it to x86Terminal.
Click on get info and tick the box to run under Rosetta.
Now you can run that terminal and install brew.
Now you can install the x86 versions of mplayer etc.
This does work but i do have some issues around how slow LSP is. But without an x86
machine to test against unsure whether its just how slow LSP is or the setup.
Hoping there is an apple silicon version of mplayer at some point.
